So, I love those monthly posts where everyone talks about their favorite foods, beauty finds, and clothing steals. October is the beginning of my favorite time of year, so now is the perfect time to do one of my own posts!
Here’s what I’ve been LOVING lately:
Cardio has never really been my favorite and I think it’s because I think too much. I can usually talk myself out of running about 5 minutes in, even if I have the most amazing soundtrack blasting through my headphones.
I thought I’d try an audiobook. I wanted something small and simple where I could download a few audiobooks and not have to worry about having a strong internet connection. After doing some research, I found that the most reliable and inexpensive mp3 player is made by SanDisk. Now I’m so focused on listening to the audiobook while on the treadmill that I forget what I’m doing. Perfect.
These cute little treats are sweet, healthy, and you guessed it, made of quinoa. They have a satisfying crunch and I’ll gladly choose them over chips any day. Their new Quinoa Puffs look amazing too and are on my to-try list!
3. Fitbit Flex
As my friend put it, I’m still in the “Honeymoon phase” with my Fitbit Flex. I’ve been so good about logging my food and water and keeping up with my daily goals for steps. We’ll see how long this lasts but as for now, I’m thinking this was a damn good investment.
And if I get too lazy to keep up, it will at least measure my sleep! Check out below.
I work in a full-time office setting, at a desk, with my macbook pro. Needless to say, that setup wasn’t cutting it. I recently noticed some pain in my wrists and immediately started researching computer setups. Turns out, my posture was completely off, my computer was at the wrong height, and I had zero wrist support. So, I ordered the mStand (plus an ergonomic keyboard and mouse) and the rest is history.
OMG. Anyone who knows me, even a little, knows I have a serious weakness for sweets. Pretty sure I eat chocolate every single day. So when my friend (who has a killer fitness Instagram account BTW) told me about Lenny and Larry’s Complete Cookie, I had to try. In a package, you get one ginormous cookie, that tastes pretty close to a normal cookie, and leaves you as satisfied as if you’d eaten a pile of Chips Ahoy. Minus the nasty.
These are all I’ve been looking for in life, er shoes, for the past few months. First off, they’re made by TOMS, so you’re donating a pair of shoes to someone in need by purchasing yourself a pair. And oh hey, these shoes are SO cute and comfortable!
I received the Keenwah Clusters complimentary, for testing purposes. All other items were purchased on my own. As always, all thoughts are my own.
