I was given an opportunity to try the new Kiss InstaWave Automatic Curler!

Right off the bat, the Instawave iron is easy to use and curls much faster than my current, clip-less curling iron. I’ve created a little infographic to show how to use it. Feel free to comment below if you have any questions — I’d be glad to answer them!

As you can see, the Instawave gave me natural looking waves — I only held for about 5 seconds on each piece of hair (on the high setting) because I like the beachy look. This baby goes up to 420 degrees Fahrenheit, which is perfect because I’d rather use high heat for less time, instead of slowly cooking my hair on a lower setting.

Additional excitement:

-I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical at first, worrying that my hair would end up in a tangled knot. Fortunately, I was tangle free, even with my fine strands!

-The Instawave is faster to use than my basic curling iron and is actually kind of fun! The automatic curling action saved my arms and wrists from getting tired. I can also choose which direction the iron curls in, which is awesome since I like to curl away from my face and then alternate directions while I work my way towards the back of my head.

-My hair turned out shiny with added volume. What’s more is that the style lasted through a night out with my friends and I’ve been using it every day since!

-I no longer have to worry about accidentally leaving the iron on when I leave for work because the Instawave automatically shuts off after 90 minutes. Bonus!

You can pick yours up at Target, Ulta & Amazon.com if you live in the US. In Canada, Kiss InstaWave is available at Walmart.
